Follow Intent on Twitter/X

If you wish to reward your customers for following your X site rather than just visiting it, you can modify the link to your site to contain a parameter that will open a Follow prompt. Here's how to build the link (replace yourscreename with your actual username)

https://twitter.com/intent/follow?screen_name=yourscreename

Please note that it's not possible to confirm if the Follow action was finally completed because of access limitations of the Social Media platform. If you modify this intent, you most likely also want to change the translation of the actual rule to say 'follow' or 'following' instead of 'visit' or 'visiting'. You can do this in our Loyalty Program > Translation settings.

If you wish to reward your customers for following your Facebook site rather than only visiting it, you can also modify the link to your site to contain a plugin parameter that will open a small banner with a Follow button. Please note that this is somehow a visually limited plugin and as in the previous case, it's not possible to confirm if the Follow action was finally completed. Here's how to build the link (replace yourprofile with your actual username)

If you modify this intent, you most likely also want to change the translation of the actual rule to say 'follow' or 'following' instead of 'visit' or 'visiting'. You can do this in our Loyalty Program > Translation settings.
